This avatar was created around the cat ears and hair, essentially. I wanted to keep the colors bright, since I knew that Batman was a younger judge and took a chance in guessing that she might appreciate something in a lighter, more playful tone. The patterns on the robe, sarashi, and ball ended up working well together (very elegant), with the stars of her face paint and sleeves giving off a more fun, youthful tone.

Notable features for this avatar are the ribbon themes and the scarf-bow combination. There are actually two flower head items, along with the flowers from the mantra. The earrings are matched with one of the headpieces.

When I saw how well the horse looked with this particular skin, I had to make an avvie for it. The rest of the items just came together.

The restrictions for this Pirate-themed contest was the background, and three items with "pirate" in the name (one being the top). With that in mind, I ended up with two parrots, and decided to build an avatar around them. I wanted to use a hat that wasn't from a pirate set, and ended up with this one. It was a fun avatar to make!

This avatar began as a compilation of new items for me: the skin, antlers, and ears. I ended up selecting this hair to match the leaves of the roses in his hair, and the tail to match the ears and skin. The Doughnight background ended up working very well with the color tones, and the vintage rose items followed the flower theme. I ended up with a top hat to match the bow (these gave the avatar a nice brown that popped out well for me), and so I added the gingerbread man in the background for further color. When I realized that the umbrella would block the rest of the gingerbread garland, I went with that too. The eyes ended up matching the rose, and the wings matched the feather in the hat. The lips matched the green leaves of the vintage rose, and the white top went with the Doughnight background . Looking at it now, I rather like how half of the Doughnight background is covered by something or other.
