Popeye, Betty Boop, Casper the Friendly Ghost, and a couple others. I got a few of those DVD packs that have dozens of old cartoons on them and now my kid is crazy over a few of them too.

I can freely admit that some of those old cartoons were/are actually horrible... But overall, so many of the old cartoons could teach a thing or two to most of the "cartoons" today... The cartoons of yesterday eat the cartoons of today for breakfast and that's the end of their story, not even leftovers for lunch... Hopefully the cartoons of tomorrow have learned the lessons from both good and bad and go back towards how to make something that's actually good...

I'm not even going to try to remember all of the cartoon names I used to watch and love, or still love... There were so many and most names I couldn't even begin to remember... But oh, those were the days... The theme songs, the captivating stories... The not ugly or lazy animation...

I saw a real old cartoon two days ago, maybe it was shown back in the 40's or 50's a strange cartoon, called Beanie and Cecil.
