I can understand that, too, most definitely. I just feel physically incapable of tons of descriptions in my own stories 'cause I don't pay attention to, for example, what people wear in real life. I write about all the little things I'd notice as if I were going through it myself, especially in first person stories. However, that's a fun exercise in itself: Maybe I'd notice some things, but that character wouldn't. So, getting into character can be fun. ^^
