it's been rainy here, causing it to be so humid... x-x

much of the same here, thunderstorms predicted for tomorrow too :/

Our AC isn't cooling right to top it off. And if I set the AC to the setting that DOES cool, its too cold for the 40g aquarium. I need a secondary heater ... ugh...

Our AC has also broke down twice since we've moved in but luckily each time we can get someone in to fix it within the week. Hope you can get it fixed soon!

They came by, attempted to fix it but it broke a few days after. Since then we been waiting on a replacement. I bet they never ordered it.

Mom's been to the hospital twice.. once near the end of last month, and then two weeks ago she went back and was made to stay a few nights. I'm sure both causes was because she was so hot.

They said the first one was a COPD flare up (which I'm sure can happen if its too hot)

They didn't say crap about her second visit. All I got was that she was dehydrated. She was acting all confused... Seeing things that weren't there, thinking she was getting dressed when she wasn't... Thinking people were bringing her things she 'needed' (wanted) .. She still does this at times so I'm still concerned.

She also thinks we have more food than we do... Asking me for lavish meals to be made.. like dude.. we never HAD all this crap, why would we have it now? >:x But the food and people confusion are all's that is left of her confusion. She's no longer seeing things and thinking she's doing stuff.

So I'm guessing it was the heat that caused her hospital visits both times. It's cooled down since which is why her confusion isn't so bad anymore. I just hope she recovers the rest of the way.

We got a kitten the same day her confusion started. My ride to the store was picking up her nephew, who is also my friend, and the cats at his dads place had kittens. The one came right up to me so I kept him. Been a few months since Hiro had passed. I still feel guilty for getting the new kitten but I adore him.

Oh God that's so horrible for you and your mom, I really hope your mom is ok and fully recovers soon. That sounds so mentally stressful as well to have to deal with, even knowing its not her fault I can't imagine it to be easy.

Honestly though is there any way you could get legal help? I'm pretty sure they're obligated to properly fix whatever is broken in your home. Especially thinking of hospital bills too, if your mom landed in the hospital not once but twice and the cause is easily related to their fault for not fixing the AC as they fully well should, that's on them!

I spent a long time after my dog passed feeling guilty of even entertaining the thought of getting another pet. Esp with my parents going 'nope not in our house again' as they literally said the pain of giving him up was too much for them to handle a second time. But now I'm on my own and I have two kitties that I adore and you know I think Hiro would also not like you to be alone. Its not like you've moved on from him, he's still in your memory and now you're giving that kitten a loving home

We have to go through section 8 to get anything done, which we'll probably do. Even though it's October, its friggen hot in the appartments.



Kuromi is getting use to the new little one. Lastnight he wrapped himself up in her tail, was so cute. Zeke still doesn't know what to make of him.

I got my cats about a month apart from each other and it definitely took a bit of time for them to get used to each other :')

they'll get there, in the meantime enjoy the cuteness

Doctor said its from her not taking her meds. But she IS taking them. She stopped once AFTER this started..Ugh...


Its been 3 weeks .. or almost that long. Kuromi swats at him from time to time, but she isn't constantly hissing or growling anymore. Wish I got a pic of the tail thing tho.

maybe she needs different meds then? idk I'm not a doctor so I have no idea but it sounds frustrating, again ;(
