Yea,, Woke up to my carpal tunnel acting up in my left arm really bad. I go look for a wrist brace in moms room to find she took her nightgown off.. >:x

Took me over 15 minutes to get her to put her nightgown back on. she kept putting on 'nothing' and saying she did. =A=

is there any possibility for it to be a sign of early onset dementia? :x

I don't know to be honest. They say that the way it started, it doesn't seem like it. It happened too fast.

I think, if it is her meds, it has to be the one pain pill. I just remembered she hasn't been asking for it lately... I gave her one this morning, and I'll be giving her another tonight, regardless on if she needs it. If I'm right, and its because she hasn't been taking this pill... she's stuck on it forever. =/


And people wonder why I hardly ever take pain killers.. I have to be in a LOT of pain to take one. Hate pills in general, but painpills are evil.

yeah you can never be too sure especially with long-term effects from taking pills for such a long time. I also prefer to tough it out in most cases, won't take a painkiller unless as a last resort if I really can't take it

I had to take some yesterday and today. The carpal tunnel in my left arm has been KILLING me.. x-x hurts so bad I can't move my arm unless I take something. QnQ

I had to take a lot after my leg surgery, I got both done at the same time cause I didn't want to stay at the hospital twice/take leave off work twice etc but boy there were moments when I regretted it :')

couldn't move at all without heavy meds, felt awful. I hope it clears up soon but if not will you need surgery or such?

Surgery would be my only option for carpal tunnel. The shots have cortizone in it and I'm allergic to that. >A<

I have to get reacquainted with the wrist doc, and she'll send me to physical therapy and stuff and right now my anxieties can't handle new people. >A<

Ah is there anything besides pain meds that you could do yourself at home to help with it?
