my mom had me buy and pack sesame seed snacks to bring to college. sesame seed generates body heat, and my mom expected that it would be cold in college too. but nope, it's hella hot and now i have to eat the sesame seed snacks because i obv can't waste them and they don't keep that long- but they'll probably make my period come early/come heavy

and on the other hand it's downright difficult to make buttermilk here, which cools you down. at least curd is available though. i'm planning on getting a savoury cereal from the supermarket so that i can have it with curd in the morning, instead of milk. the supermarket is far tho and idk when i'll be able to go.

regarding how hot it is here: climate change for you..

it was a bit better today, 36c.

but we have what feels like constant high heat waves.

heat waves are annoying af! i've had people ask me often whether i prefer heat or cold, but really i hate extremes.

I miss winter


Yes it's nice wearing shorts but it's not nice to find in half an hour your shorts are just soaking in sweat.

Hate extremes too. Either way it's annoying or difficult to go out to work/school or even survive at your own home. Although lately the winters are warmer here. I guess it's due to global warming. So nowadays I'd prefer cold over hot, because with the climate capabilities it's not unbelievably cold, but it get unbelievably hot.

I get extra hugs in winter.

And lots of blankets. I can kind of make due without a heater in winter. I can't make due without at least a fan in summer.


Today was much nicer. I even got to have the fan off for a few hours :) it stormed a bit, not much rain though :( but lovely nice cold breeze.

I do hope the lightning didn't set more fires though. I haven't smelled any smoke in the air so that's a good sign.

It's sad, I'm getting used to the smell of bushfire smoke.

Yesterday I read an article stating that equivalent of almost 1/4 of whole area of Poland has burned down in Australia. We're not the biggest country, but we're not small either. It's terrifying.
