I don't like the feel of the kitchen sink water... so mom does the dishes. ._.

Bathroom water is alright...

Kitchen water tastes nasty, bathroom water tastes alright...

I've never drank water from my sinks :')

but if the feel of the water is a thing for you, why not use gloves?

We use to use sink water for everything from drinking to cooking... then a notice went around 8-9 years ago stating that the water was making people sick so we started buying water from the store.. but that got too much for us to bring up to the apartment all the time so we now order from a water company that delivers xD

Probably that 2ppm ammonia thats in the water.. and all of that chlorine that binds it >:x


The gloves make my hands smell terrible.. QAQ

That and they melted on the sink.. it was weird =/ like that part of the sink doesn't even get hot so why melt?!

speaking of gloves.. my 5 gallon tank is causing an allergic reaction (probably the nitrite/nitrate bacterias) I get hives on my arm when I get it wet.. o3o hives are annoying, so itchy..

If only gloves wouldn't make my hands smell >:x

Have you tried different kinds of gloves? Sounds so weird, there must be a kind of glove or such you can use to not get hives or that doesn't melt/make your hands smell...

I just gave up with the gloves. =w=

I do dishes when I need to, mom mainly does them. (I still want a dish washer >:x) I just scrub my hands in the bathroom afterwards.

I bought an aqua scaping kit so I don't need to put my hands in the water too often. owo It's got scissors for trimming aquatic plants, two types of tweezers, and this flat tool to move sand/gravel around.

I had used this flat thinger to remove some zeolite from the smaller tank and the shrimp just wouldn't leave it be! They wanted the zeolite to stay put, but I didn't want it in there anymore. xD They're worse with my homemade syphon tool that i use to clean up the shrimp poop =w=,

To the shrimp you're like a benevolent yet overbearing god :')

o3o They probably see me as a demon lord.. I took their cholla log bridge and anubias nana plant away and put it in the currently cycling tank.

._. I think the cycle stalled... I've got ammonia and nitrates... but the nitrites are missing again... >A<
