Still haven't gone to the beach.
Actually I did but once there was a typhoon so it was raining hard and the second time the main goal was diving so we just walked on the beach.

As for the contest, I already have the item so good luck everyone;

The only thing I would like is a small jar of white sand, pink sand, and any other odd colored sand. XD Only because I'm fascinated with them.

Okay. I hope to get some entries.

I think I have or had a small bit of beach sand I got as part of a box lot in an auction somewhere

I have star-shaped sand at home. And I have some of that sand enclosed in a glass pendant.
That thing is super pretty and super small.
Never have encountered any other sand but white, orange and black. Pink must be really pretty.

Pink sand is found on the Bahamas.
Pink Sand

I would like to at least see and walk on the starry beaches.

Starry Beach
I bet just walking there is like a dream. *w*

There are starry beaches all over the world. There is even one less than one hour from Tokyo. Maybe there's one closer to you than you think.

I have been told it's disappointing in real life though, that they retouch the pictures a bit too much.

Yeah the image you linked had suggested images of similar sights in many different places for me

Not an ocean one. I live in Nebraska which is about smack dab in the middle of the US.

That's a bummer. :\ I was really hoping they were as beautiful. Damn false advertising.

Well, I've heard the same thing about auroras but we don't know until we try.

I do plan on trying the sparkly beach one of those years so I'll report!
