Yeah. Trade secrets blah blah blah
The trade secrets are machines lol
And they're automated

I have no idea. We have a union but it may as well not exist for how useless it is

Ah. Companies are so weird.

You don't know if you get paid well? Do you give your checks to someone else?

I do hate when a union is useless. It's very annoying. Theyre very important for workers rights and stuff but I feel like only people who are passionate about workers rights should be on the boards. Like lots of people just dont care and I dont think they should be allowed to do the representing.

There's likely specifics that I'm unaware of that they're worried about lol

I have direct deposit, I don't see my checks

Yeah, a friend of mine got fired from here and now is working somewhere with an actually useful union and their president is horrified by how useless ours is lol
Many are certain that our union president is taking bribes

Probably.

You don't look at your bank account? How do you know how much money you have?

Are you still living with your parents?

Gotta love a good union.

They might be. Do you have elections for your union? Might try voting in a different person.
My husband's union has voting, I don't know how often though.

I check before a big purchase
Which hasn't happened recently

Yeah. I pay the house bill

From what I understand, voting only happens when a board member steps down. Or contract change

Well it sounds like you're living very comfortably then.

Husband has to check our finances before buying literally anything. It sucks.

We pay all the bills. We should get a room mate or something. But people are awful. Ugh.

Yeah, if I was getting extra money from the bosses I'd prolly not wanna step down.

Hubs most recent contract lasts 3 years.

Mom's had to borrow before, she's on comp and they're giving her trouble cuz it's been a couple years so they want to drop it, thankfully I can do that

Yeah ours is three years too

Borrow from you? Or like take out a loan with a bank?
Did she work at the same place as you?

I assume you mean workman's compensation? Like when you get injured on the job? Is she still able to work or did it majorly hurt her? Poor thing.

Might be the average contract time then.

Borrow money. From me. She repays tho

She rolled her ankle and to this day it bothers her. Not so much since the surgery a few months ago but still a lot. She's got limited hours

More than likely

It's good that she can do that. Banks are so corrupt. The insane rates that they put on loans is down right predatory. I hate it.

She might want to get a lawyer if they're trying to bother her about it. Companies are always trying to fuck people over.

Who knows. It does make sense because it usually takes so long for the negotiations to go.
