And laser hair removal is a scam.. it just makes hair thinner and less noticeable... from everything I've read at least...
That's what it does. It makes the hair overall weaker.
And what it's supposed to do, I don't know why people started claiming that is was more than that. I bought a laser hair removal home-device a few years ago, and it explains it accurately.
The miraculous never-have-to-shave-again is just an urban myth.
My personal experience is that after a few uses my hair starts growing much weaker, takes longers to actually grow out, and when it does it's thinner and less noticeable.
Which means I need to remove my hair less often. So for me it does work.
Problem is that it works better if you are constant - instead of forgetting that you should repeat every month or two, just to make sure the hair does not start growing strong again.
I'm a total disaster for remembering this sort of stuff. So maybe it was not the best investment.
I should create alarms or something ^^;
