Do you like medieval themes? Do you like musicals? Do you like to have a laugh?

Galavant easily made it to being one of my favourite TV shows and I am terribly glad they made it to season 2 despite their ratings. I am very confused by is also, because those whom I've introduced to Galavant, liked or loved it.

Sometimes it's nice to have a TV show that doesn't wreck you emotionally (even if sometimes all that drama can be enjoywable). Just a show that can give you a good laugh, even with some very cheap jokes in there.

I just wanted a thread that's all about Galavant?

i saw the first episode maybe even the second one and they were great but then I forgot about it, maybe I should give it another try

There's only 8 episodes. It's short, but I suppose it can be compared to watchting a movie. Feel free to come back when you're watched it, so we can talk about it.

Love it, my beloved hates it. Sounds entertaining, but I'd have to watch with head phones.

How come? Not fond of musicals in shows/movies? Cause my mother hates that usually.

He just can't stand some, I dunno why he likes musicals like Grease and Westside Story but not real silly ones or happy go lucky I guess. To each their own.

Too bad, because I find Galavant a gem.

I usually LOVE medieval themed things. Musicals are iffy for me, they can go either way. I watched I think the first half of the first episode of Galavant. I HATED it. It was so cheesy I couldn't take any more. I never watched any more of it. My mother said that she liked it though.

I actually liked how cheesy it was, it was very much on purpose at least. But I can imagine it could turn someone off.

I loved it. :) Felt like a sort of cousin to Monty Python & the Holy Grail via the Princess Bride, with a bit of Game of Thrones flavoring on top. I'm also glad it got a second season.
