@5ft: Whenever he reaches Lv.100 you can chose and save the stage you prefer

yep, it's tha same for all Knuffel here.
An option *Fix state* appears at the Knuffels page then, showing you all 5 stages and then you can pick and save the one you prefer ... it just cannot be undone so it will stay in the stage you picked forever.
That's also the reason why some ppl here adopt 5 of each so they can save them in all stages
