I can only draw faces from one angle.

I can attempt other ways, but they all suck. Sometimes I can pull off a mad decent profile. It's either that for about 75% straight on slightly turned to the left.
It feels the most natural for my hand. Am I broken? :gfish:

I have this problem.
Someone told me I should try different angles.
I do try sometimes.
But I like drawing the angles I draw usually - that's why I do it xD

Just means you need more practice drawing from different angles. Then those angles will come naturally to your hand too! XD

I've been working much harder at drawing faces at angles but I still have problems with profiles

I know how it feels, for what seems like forever I was only able to do front view, then the last year or so I've been practising art like crazy and can draw a pretty good 3/4 view, my front view is a bit declined in looking good..

I'm not sure if it would work for you, but I teach myself by a lot of reference "tutorials" a lot of looking and mimicking made me able to do 3/4 and sometimes a side view (if I don't rage quit haha.. :mcheh: )

yessss hahahaha if i try to focus on another style my previous one always suffers
truly i just don't practice enough.

tutorials are incredibly helpful and they were how i got by for awhile. this is the age of the interweb and there are billions of tutorials out there. i have no excuse.
i learn from mimicking too. eventually i feel confident enough that i can draw it naturally and i'll adapt it to my style. i'd never show my practices off as my own work but i definitely copy.

I can only kind of draw from one angle as well. I think that it takes a lot of practice to get yourself out of that kind of habit.

I feel you. I detest drawing profiles, but since I've started to practice and use references for it, it's not too bad. :qt:

I can draw 3/4 view anytime, profiles sometimes, and full-on... not so much.
