I was really bad in the beginning, until I realized that even if I fail fast, that is a quick way to make some shards in between, when I don't have much time or want to focus on something else. Then I quickly got better with practice.
I do it during lectures sometimes, where I only have a few minutes between having to write down things and where I don't want to waste any mental capacity on memorizing cards or worse, the hoof it pattern.

I've maxed out the reason on my kith, so I have to decline the book quests now :( (don't know if there are still some books I could read to it anyway, but I haven't come across any)
I really need to work on energy and mostly health, everything else is maxed and I'm so excited to get a second kith soon!
I hope with my new stovetop I can cook some new food that gives more health points than the basic things I've mostly been feeding Fenly.
I should go shop for some more recipes that look like they'd need the stovetop (if only I had shards...) :)

The pets have stats to raise, some by giving them items, some they raise from quests and games (more or less happens in the background if you use the site). They have different stages they unlock, but you can choose which one it uses and change that around as often as you like.

There are different types of pets and each comes in different colour variations.
You can only have one to raise at a time, once you max that you can choose another one (or you can buy premium items to have more, but I kind of like this feeling of you raise this one pet now, I would be stressed out by raising multiple at a time and I feel like I have a stronger bond to it this way).

Yes, some colours you can change your kith to by using a tattertint. Some of them you get from quests, some you can trade for in the marketplace (look at shady character's thread).
