anime food always look so delicious. Those gifsets dedicated to anime food are labeled as foodporn for a reason !

Like how do they make that animated food look so great and tasty?!

Seriously!! Studio Ghibli is especially ...good? bad? something about it! So many scenes of people cooking or eating, and it all looks so delicious!! But even, like, old school Sailor Moon sometimes featured people eating crepes or something and it always made me feel like eating whatever it was right after.

Just looking at the pics posted here makes me want to go eat something.

Yes, I have no idea how they make it look so tasty. It always results with me drooling all over my screen.

And food in anime looks just as good as real life food, and sometimes even better
Just thinking about it made me hungry DX

Animated food does often look really amazing.
I think it's easier to make it pretty than real food because you don't actually have to deal with the effort of cooking.

I agree, in real life things can go wrong while cooking, or maybe a certain presentation isn't possible (because of density/juices of stuff I don't really know about) while in animation you can "build" food and plates how you want and i doesn't have to be feasible...
But after watching Shokugeki no Soma I don't think I'll ever look at sparkling/shining anime food witout thinking about its "peculiar" reacions... XD
