I like the idea of disclosing what items you get but I don't want the location being told because I also agree it'd get people active.

I think it's a good idea to help increase how long users stay online for. You cannot always produce plots and events so there's not much you can do except to find a way to make people chat more.

Actually, this is a brilliant idea. Whoever hatched this idea is amazing! I see no downside and these items may even have the chance to appear again on a later date.

I do think it's a great idea to make people more active, and I'd prefer not to disclose the location of the item. Anyway it should be super easy to find the pop up.

One question though, I tried to post the image of the item and failed. What did I do wrong? I probably grabbed the wrong link to it.

I was thinking more in an archival sense of recording -wait the two days until it's not available if you like and then record where it was found, kind of thing.

The point of interest to it was to see if there's any kind of pattern over a long term time period, not to see each individual time where to look for it.

I guess I'm a little more automatically nerdy than most, but I couldn't care less about finding out location from a thread instead of pop-up. It didn't even occur to me that this would be an issue.

Hopping on a mule, getting the pop-up, then going there isn't the test cuz, well, if the pop-up activates the item, then it's definitely going to be there
So I guess I'll have to wait until next month to figure it out myself

I tested it on my mule. It worked I just didn't get the item because it's a mule account

I'm looking to see if it's there without the pop-up, since it's obviously going to be in the same place for everyone
So it's literally
1. Log in on mule that hasn't gotten the pop-up
2. Go right to location
3. Determine if the item is there or not
There's no lollygagging for the pop-up to arrive in this test

okay so, it seems logical that the item is going to be in the same place for everyone. i logged into my mule and went right to the daycare before the index page loaded again and there was no item. clicked the community tab, got the pop up, and went back to the daycare for the item.

so yes, you need the pop up to get the item. but it could vary when you get the pop up because the idea of this was to get people talking again which won't happen if they can log in and get the item right away.

Okay, so disclosing the location is fine
Especially for people who derp like my mom, tho not entirely her fault and forget shortly after reading it and need reminding
