If you're a fan of Archie comics, maybe the new that a TV Show called Riverdale got you excited. Don't be. It's supposed to be based on Archie, but it's not. The similarities end and begin only with the names of the characters. I regret watching the first episode. I don't want to spoil certain things, but did they butcher the Archie Gang. Veronica seemed pretty close to her normal self, Jughead wasn't in it enough to really tell.

I watched the first episode or two. I like it but didn't love it. I'm not familiar with the Archie comics at all.

It's probably easier for you to like it then. For me because I'm familiar with the comics, it's just terrible. Archies comics are a lot cleaner and I don't see why the need to turn the show into a murder mystery and some of the other stuff they have going on make no sense for the characters I know and love.

Yeah, I was kind of confused by the show. I'm not familiar with the Archie comics, but I was watching the show like, "I didn't think this was what the comics were about...." lol.

I plan on watching a little, more but for me it was a big disappointment.

My sister and I have been watching it. I've got no problem with the gritty angle, but I find Archie's character pretty much unbearable. Also, I honestly can't tell if the show is good or bad.

But I've been given to understand that it is more in line with the 2015 reboot than the original comics.

Not familiar with Archie, although I suppose the name is oddly familiar, but I've noticed that very few things that are turned into something else from the original are any good (unless it's fan work of some sort since true fans tend to take these things far more seriously, and there's some very talented fans out there. Far better than most of these people today who get paid for doing whatever they do), or at least worth the original... Especially these last some years. But that could be just me with my high standards again, lol. And then there's also all these reboots, and reboots of reboots, endless big money sequels and whatever else (especially hollywood has become so lazy and just plain horrible)... Anyway, my point is that I feel your pain, haha. Been there many times before...

Yeah, that was...not okay. And I think the not-okayness will be validated by the plot, but STILL. Not okay.
