Understandable :D
Is it the emboidery based on an old picture that you've been posting on instagram? That looked like a lot of progress to me :)

Yes it is! I still haven't finished half the canvas though haha. I was trying to console myself with thinking there is more empty space on the second half, but actually, there's more dark space as well which means there's a lot left to do.

But you've also been finishing big parts recently, so I'm sure it won't be too long anymore. And it's looking really cool!

Thanks ^^ I do enjoy seeing it transforming. I'm still deciding what to do with it when I finish. Originally I was going to frame it and put together a collection for a gallery show maybe in a few years. But then I also had the idea of putting it onto clothing as a patch/applique.

Hm, that's a difficult decision. I can definitely see it looking gorgeous in a frame! But putting it onto something might be nice as well. How big is it in total?
I guess you could just wait and see if the perfect idea for a clothing item that it would look good on comes along?

It's on an A4 piece of fabric, but the design is a bit smaller and doesn't fill the whole width - it's off to one side a bit. I have an idea in my head that I probably wouldn't be able to execute of this layered shirt XD It would also look cool on a bomber jacket, I think. But maybe I should save that for another idea where I can do the whole of the back of the jacket in the gold satin.

So my favorite things to do is sewing and working with clay and paper. :}

That's quite large, I think putting it on the back of something would probably do it the most justice. But yeah, it probably looks best if there's really just a whole piece of the jacket pattern made from the fabric you embroider, not a distinct patch. What would the layered shirt look like?

Hey there Dream-Baby, welcome to the thread!
What do you make from clay and paper? That sounds like a fun thing I haven't heard about yet :)
And yay for sewing! Do you have a favourite project you've done?

Oh, btw guys, another craft-related news I forgot to share - I finally got my chest of drawers for storing my materials :)
So much better than piles on the floor and my desk :D And there's still lots of room in it to start more projects ;)

Art dolls.

You use steelwire to make the base form, then use papergoop to fill the form and use clay to give it all the features you want. :}
