Elbow

Has anyone heard of the band Elbow? They're an alternative/indie band from Manchester (England).

They're style changes occasionally over time, their earlier stuff focusing on straight rock such as 'Grounds for Divorce' (Linked Below) and 'Forget Myself' where their new stuff is more chilled out/indie. The majority of their songs from the album 'The Seldom Seen Kid' use an orchestra and choir, it's an understatement to say they are the most beautiful songs I've heard. For those I'd recommend 'Weather to Fly', 'Friend of Ours' and 'Starlings'.

They're not incredibly well known but you may have heard of 'One Day Like This' (Linked Below) I'll also link 'Magnificent' so you can see the difference in style over the years.

I saw them in March which was my first ever live gig and they were amazing! They used two violinists during the show but they've performed in the past with a full orchestra.

Spoiler: Grounds for Divorce

Spoiler: Starlings (Caution: The Orchestra Gets Loud)

Spoiler: One Day Like This

Spoiler: Magnificent (She Says)

Never heart of them.
Interesting sound/beat though, might give them a whirl once and again.
