When I Was A Kid

Since we got some grape juice, I was reminded of how I used to pretend it was wine when I was a kid.
I always thought wine was fancy and fancy people drank it, so I'd pretend it was wine and I'd be like "Mm, yes. Quite fancy 8u /pinky"
I also used to put one of my dad's socks in my shorts and pretend I was a wolf.
The sock was my tail xD
I'd also howl at full moons.
I miss being a kid sometimes.
Childhood goes by so fast and then you're an adult.
Being an adult is terrible, but you can't be as blissful as when you were a kid.
I remember being so blissfully unaware of things and now I know everything I didn't then and it's sucky xD
What did you do and think when you were a kid?

I sure miss those carefree and blissful days of being a kid. I have a lot of fond memories of my hyper imagination when I was a child. I mostly, copy and recreate the profession and everyday routine of adults around me. I also used to imagine I'm a baker and create my fake pastries from Clay. the other day Id be a famous seamstress, the next I'm a doctor , I'm a gardener with a green thumb and the list goes on.
I used to wonder before why adults seem to be always in control and knows a lot until I become one (young adult) and realize how hard is it to be an adult. That being an adult isn't worry free and the overwhelming resposibilies and c*** from life. Its not easy and conflicts are not so easy to resolve like how we as kids before easily forget about it the next day.

What I miss the most about being younger is time. Even in college, I had so much more free time. The reading was light and the essays were short, so I could just do my own thing. Regularly wrote 10k words a day.
Now I basically only get a break every few years to really exist and be creative without stressing about deadlines.

Wait... Moi, are you telling me, that you DON'T stick a sock in your butt for a tail anymore?
I'm disappointed!
(I'd have a string-tail and crawl around the house with it.)
(Also we had a beanbag chair, and I'd crawl with that on my back being a turtle, and if someone would come by I'd tuck myself into it like a shell.)
