Opinions?

I went to buy the normal edition and I noticed 'The Apprentice' was not on it. I have to get the deluxe edition. Goddamn.


My favorites currently are Andromeda, The Apprentice (obv), Let Me Out, She's My Collar, Charger (cha cha charga)... Carnival is ok, Saturn Barz I like for 2D's part but I'm not a big fan of the other guy (guys?) in it.

I knew that the apprentice is a bonus track and it's just on the deluxe version x)

I love the album... Like everything from gorillaz. Their music is always great and unique :3
My fave tracks from the album are: Saturnz barz, Ascension, Andromeda, momentz, charger, strobelite, ticker tape, sex murder party and she's my collar.
All other songs are also great, also the interludes..

And the guy from Saturnz Barz You're meaning is popcaan ^^ he's okay, it's quite bit difficult to understand the jamaican slang he's using ^^

I do not know what he is saying, haha. Normally that doesn't bother me but the way his voice sounds bothers me. I think I'm just not used to it. The more I listen to it, the more I like it.
I haven't listened to some of those yet. I kinda cherry-picked on Youtube (I went through and skipped through songs to see if I liked them, lol). I need to give the full CD a thorough listen-to.

I guess, some of the songs on the album need a 2nd or 3rd listening to decide if you'll like it or not ^^'
Hope you'll give the album a chance and listen to it more than one time ^^

From my side: the album is great... unique like all gorillaz albums ♥
And I can't wait too see them live in November

I hope so, that a new B-Side album will come out one day.
Especially because the "super deluxe edition" Vinyl have 14 other/new Tracks on it. Some remixes, some different songs.

At Demon Dayz Festival, Damon said that "Garage Palace/Place" (I'm not sure what's 100% right) will be released soon. After Sleeping Powder, which was completely a song by 2D, the next song will be complete free of 2D ^^' (like some other songs on Humanz too).

I am soooo jealous!! Ahh!! Though.... I do not know what 2D looks like irl. I don't know if I want to ruin the mystique. I have avoided google imaging him.
I was burned when I was 13 and looked up Sesshoumaru's voice actor. Never again.

My first Gorillaz Concert in all the years *u* I'm very excited <3

Mh... you know the "facts" about the band/heads behind? I mean 'singing voice' and so on? :)
But tbh, there's nothing to be burned if you see someone behind Gorillaz, like singing voice or speaking voice.... or what ever ^_^
But there's also not really one who is directly 2D or Murdoc or Noodle or Russel. No alter ego of them or so :)
And since phase 4 they've a new speaker for 2D ^^

yeah, idk why.. some say the "old" one don't feel longer well to speak him. He just made the speaking part of 2D in the Saturnz Barz video. The new one speak him in the interviews.
I think he make a very good job. He speaks just a bit more clearly and not too much in this cockney accent
