Yeah, it was rotten. And it can cause heart problems.
My teeth are all fucked up and bad, so I worry it'll kill me that way xD

I didn't trust him to begin with because I know about loaded dice.
People use them to cheat and beat people.
So I knew he was cheating.
But I had to lose in order to move the plot along u8

Dice and coins - they can both be used to cheat.

Haha, yeah, definitely have to visit a dentist after this pandemic madness is over. I have a history with rotten teeth, it's not pretty or pleasant

I'm good, pretty sleepy and tired. Just finished watching a live webinar of my proofreading course and I'm heading to bed.
But also my mom called earlier today to wish me happy Children's Day and totally broke into crying because she's a mess... and totally ruined my mood, actually. It kills me to listen to her because I'm helpless, I can't do anything to help her, even if I try. And I do try. And the worst part is, she blames herself for stuff and she latches onto all of her intrusive thoughts and it's hard to hear her constantly talk about her fears and pain, you know?
And she doesn't make sense at times XD She offered to meet up but I told her I can't make it today because I have this webinar. And she said she knows it's important to me and anyways she's not feeling well today, but she's still hurt I don't want to meet with her and she feels rejected. And I'm like: But you said yourself that you're not feeling well, so what's the problem? We can meet some other day, right? Jeez.
So, I felt helpless and sad and cried myself...

And how are you? XD

Yeah, dental health is important.
I've had so much dental work in my life.
I don't even flinch at dental things or getting injections in my gums xD
I had a dentist be surprised by how still I am when I get the shots.

Teeth problems be crazy. I just finished a course in forensic anthropology & archaeology and it had this one module all about what diseases can do to your bones. The teeth ones were incredible. And terrifying. Also bone cancer and what it does to your skeleton is... yeesh. I definitely took some nightmares out of that module.

The summer is already too hot for me so I'm a grumpy cat. I'd like the hot weather to go away now. A nice cool breeze would be perfect. We got a new alarm clock, because the one I've had since I was like 6 died at the start of lockdown, and it shows the temperature of the bedroom on it, and so far it's mostly been 27 c for the past month.

Also if anyone is selling the monthly troth top I will buy it~~~

Mostly when it comes to murder cases, but I'm sure all of it is fascinating.
I learned that people can tell where you grew up based on the water you drank when you were growing up.
They found this Jane Doe and were able to figure out what country she came from because the water she drank.

I hate spring and summer. Too hot, too many bugs, etc.

Mem: It is exhausting. Especially when I'm already constantly tired.

So like, this woman was down at the park and told people she looked away for a second and her two year old boy was gone.
So she got the police and zoo officials and other people down there and looking for him.
An Amber Alert was issued and everything.
Turns out she killed him and dumped his body in a dumpster literally down the street from me.
He was never even at the park.
And I hate to say it, but when I hear stuff like that, I just think the parents or whoever reported them missing killed them.
There's been too many stories in recent years of people killing their own kids and acting like they went missing.
Last year, I believe, this man reported his stepdaughter abducted by three random Mexicans.
He killed her himself and hid her body.

@Mem haha because I wanted to be able to include some factual forensic stuff in my books. I learned a lot, actually. And yes please, let's switch weathers XD I can't live in this stupid hot apartment.
Re: the tops, if you could :D Although tell me something you want in return. I have piles of fps just sitting around here doing nothing.

@Moi yup, that's right. You can tell what type of food someone ate as well. Although it's less useful now because people are able to send food around the world. Back before globalisation, there was one type of grain in Europe and one type of grain in the US (or the new world, as back then) and they had totally different properties. That way you could easily tell where someone was from. The course had an example of some Roman soldiers who were found buried next to a fort, and they were mostly all from the same area apart from a couple that had travelled from the other side of the empire. Super cool that they can tell all that just from a skeleton.
It was also cool to learn what they CAN'T tell. Like how age estimates are super shaky. There's a lot of development within the skeleton that happens betwen certain ages but it can differ from people to people. Like some of the teeth come through between ages 12 and 20 or something, so although you can narrow it down a bit with other bones, it's actually really hard to guess someone's age. After about 40 or so it starts to get where you can only really guess a 10 or 20 year window from the skeleton.

I agree about the parents thing. It's almost always someone who knew them in a huge percentage of cases. I often wonder about the McCanns. I know there's so much information out there at this point it's almost impossible to work out what's true and what's not. But I do wonder a lot about the parents. It's so easy to read everything both ways. I think, they wouldn't still be looking for her if they knew they had killed her, bringing all that attention on themselves. But then I also think, if they killed her they would think that stopping looking would make them look more guilty, so they have to keep looking forever. It's tough to figure out.

I know with age, sometimes I've seen "Age estimate 1 - 100" ._.
So any age basically xD
But it's usually more like 13 - 24 which is easier.
I also find it cool when it comes to bugs and plants.
Like they found this plant residue on a victim and were able to isolate the area the plant came from because it only grew in certain places.
So the body had been dumped - she didn't die there and wasn't from there.
I wish I could take a class on it, but my brain is so bad that I can't focus and remember =_=

The McCanns are very weird >__>
The way they talked and acted made them suspicious.
Especially the way the mom talked about her daughter's precious genitals being torn apart.
WHO talks like that o___O
And to laugh at a joke about their missing daughter from a known pedophile they ate dinner with?
I think they know something. I don't know if they did it or had someone else do it, but they know something.
And they're not stupid, which makes the case harder.

Another one I want solved is the JonBenét Ramsey murder.
She was two years younger than me and I remember hearing about her on the news and radio and her murder just always stuck with me.
And I know someone knows who did it, but they never spoke up.
People think the brother did it because of his interview with Dr. Phil.
But I have issues with it because I tend to smile and laugh when I'm upset.
It's just what I've always done and people have yelled at me and accused me of doing stuff when I didn't =_=
That's not to say he didn't do it, but just because he smiled doesn't instantly mean he killed her.

I remember my dad telling me that he heard she had numerous bruises on her and it indicated abuse.
He said he ran over to me and counted the bruises on me and I had just as many, but it was because I was a kid. And I was a very clumsy kid. With bruises.

I haven't heard about the McCanns. But the "genitals" quote makes me think they're at the least very strange people...

Heard about JonBenét, though. I really dove into this case once, but I can't remember much now. I only remember that she was in many child beauty contests, the pineapple and the guy with criminal past who supposedly called someone at the similar time of her death and said "I hurt a little girl" or something along those lines. Oh, and that years later someone tracked down some DNA on her panties but they ruled it out as insufficient evidence because it could've as well been DNA from the factory's employee. So yeah. Now it's late at night and I'm about to go to bed but now I'm creeped out by all the murder talk xD
