How many projects do you usually have going at once?

I have about six different novels that are almost out of the plotting stage and are moving into the actual writing phase (aka, the hard part, at least for me) and then five more that are still in the planning stage.

So that's eleven different novels in-progress right now. How many projects do y'all have open right now, and how many do you usually have going at once?

I know how that is. I have several like ten stories going at once. But I keep getting stuck and then I end up making up another story. XD It's because it helps me think up an idea for the other stories. And it keeps me from getting bored.

I usually have three going on at once. Right now I'm trying to be good and focus on one but I keep thinking of other stories that can link to the one I'm already writing.

As of right now, I'm currently writing one story.
Usually I do one-shot flash fiction pieces, and I've dabbled in short stories,
but this time I'm trying to put something out with multiple chapters.
For a friend. o vo

Working on that, and I have a couple other ideas bouncin' around in my head.
Not sure if I could actively write for all of them at the same time, though.

I dunno if it only counts as one, or counts as like two dozen, but I'm always working on a whole bunch of stories in one united universe. So maybe they're more like different parts of the same story?

I tend to focus on one story, but I'm currently mulling over two.

One is a modern-esque story about witch-born youths who skirt the lines of magic. They lack most abilities associated with witches, but possess some curious traits that make them stand out more than non-magic folk.

The second story is about a group of elemental beings who are attempting to unlock their magic. It's more of a fantasy tale with stronger nature elements.

I try to limit myself to one or two projects at a time.

My answer is WAY TOO MANY!

I don't mean to open new projects, but since I don't usually finish or stop working on anything officially, it's hard for me to say what I am working on at once. What I've touched recently is two or threeish fanfics, but I'm actually editing right now. I lined up about 6 fics I want to finish the editing for this month as part of camp nanowrimo.

But I have another ten open projects just on my desktop, so...
