Newbie PayPal Donation Question

I got two prepaid gift cards. I put them both on PayPal. I think they each have $2, so $4 total. I would like to buy a fairy coin. But it won't go through because I don't have enough on either card by itself, and PayPal doesn't seem smart enough to use both. Is there a way to get PayPal to use both cards or am I out of luck?

Do you have a paypal account?
If so you can add them to your wallet and use that at checkout.
If you do not have an account i do not think that it will let you use mixed cards.

For PayPal members, you can simply add prepaid gift cards to your wallet then start using them during checkout - just like any other credit or debit cards. For users without PayPal account, you can just enter the card information during checkout in the same way you would do with credit or debit cards.

I have a PayPal account, but all it's connected to are those two gift cards. I don't have a bank account. I tried to move the money from the card to my PayPal balance by clicking "Transfer money," but that just takes me to an option to move money from a bank account to my PayPal.

i'm pretty sure that paypal charges a $1 fee (that you get back in a few days) to make sure the card(s) are legitimate. maybe that's why it won't work? especially if you have no other form of payment saved to your account.
