Kingdom of Knuffel

I used to use Photobucket, so none of my pictures work anymore. So I have tried imgur and another site or two. I have tried a few pictures ranging from big, to medium, to small, to teeny. But no matter what I do, I can't get my pictures to show up here. It always just gives me a "It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image" error. But I see other people sharing from imgur and other sites. Can anyone figure out what I might be doing wrong?

In imgur, you want to use the link that is called "direct link" and has an .png or .jpg or something like that at the end. Not the one called image link without it!
But imgur also offers you the link already inside img tags, it's called BBCode and you can just directly copy-paste that into posts here without having to click img above. That's the easiest way :)

I'm having the same problem but I use deviantart and the url does end with an "png". Any ideas?

I believe deviantart also "fixed" hotlinking, similar to what photobucket did.

I don't remember what I did (I don't post many pictures), but I eventually posted the picture that I wanted (the book banner for the reading challenge - https://www.kofk.de/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=61246 ). So I am all set for now!
