Sirene smiled,"It was a blast," She said, leading her friend into the kitchen and handing her a plate of food,"I made something new tonight, let me know what you think." She smiled, leading her to the table to sit with her and Nathan

Natalie smiled. "I'm glad you had fun." She said calmly. She glanced down at the plate and tried it, her smile growing. "Delicious!" Natalie chirped happily. Nathan glanced at her, noticing her necklace. "Nice set of beads, is that what you were doing all day?" He wondered a loud. His sister blinked and nodded lightly without much of a response.

How could she tell him she was with a human all day? She just ate her dinner.

Sirene smiled,"So how was Bryan?" She asked her friend quietly, speaking low enough for only Natalie to hear her. She sat back down and started to eat as well, knowing that Natalie spent the day with her first crush.

Natalie blushed almost as soon as her friend asked. "Sirene.. I really like him.. He's sweet and very curious about us." She said softly. "..and he collects sea shells, to make necklaces." She said softly, eating her dinner.

"I had a feeling you would." Sirene said gently,"I'm so excited and happy for you." She finished eating her food,"Anyone want seconds?"

Natalie shook her head and glanced at Sirene. "Sirene, it would never work between us.." She said softly as she carefully held out her plate. "I'd like more please." She smiled. "Nah, I'm good. Thanks." Nathan got up and swam to the kitchen to wash his plate, kissing her cheek as he passed her. Natalie blinked. She glanced at her friend, then at her brother and back at her friend. When did they become a thing? The concert!

"Sure it could. There's a way for humans to change into laypeople if they wish it." Sirene smiled, blushing at the kiss and getting more food for Natalie and herself.

Natalie shook her head as she spoke. "I could never ask him to do that. He probably has a family just like us." She said, hoping she understood her friend correctly. Even if there was a way for Bryan to become a merman, what about his family? She sighed as Sirene handed her the plate and slowly ate.

Nathan glanced at the girls curiously before swimming back to the couch and leaning back.

"You might not have to ask." Sirene smiled, giving her more,"But I don't blame you for not wanting to ask him or have him do that."

Natalie played with a strand of loose hair. She was right though.. But, maybe.. Just maybe.. She was thinking about going on land tomorrow to see Byran, and use her legs for a change. She wouldn't tell them though. Natalie smiled and nodded lightly. "Maybe he'll think of it himself." She said quietly.

Nathan dozed off on the couch.
