I have to say I miss the "gold" remake of item in gold from donating x amount.

It also appears from the trading ive done already with users they still value old gotq items very highly. (Even highier than older MT/ TT sets)
even though you could win one by posting, it hasn't de value of them by much. Although as collecter changed my mind a little on there value as it mean each time 5 users win one thats 5 more on the server.

But it's nice feature I do like it, im glad some of the activie users get rewarded for just being online.

But I do think it's cute you get items for donating smaller amounts, I like that.

Just wish you could collect them and make a matching set like a mt or tt, That be awesome.

So if you keep at donating over few months you get a unique matching set, I like the sound of it!

After the "uquie knuffels " ive lost intrest in collecting them, still want all the shop ones. But I could see a special knuffle from donating would be a useful trading item for me or fun thing to have.

Just throwing this out there, if you made it exspenstivie I bet you could sell old MT & TT sets, Just like the older generation knuffle. Even if you made it limited amount? Still means it is possiable to have a older set.

I've paid over 10fc for knuffel before from the shop.

I already talked this through with users on other ocassions before: Any kind of temporaty additional reward for donating that is not available at all times, is out of the question, because it always results in users not donating when such a reward is not available and holding off with their donation till a temporary reward will be available at some point. And while this might not change the overall amount of donations, but just shifts them from months where there are less to months where there are more, this is still a huge problem for us, because we have fixed times when our servers need to be paid.
We experienced this ourselves when we had a special deal on Fairy Coins, where people stocked up on them and then we had much less donations for the upcoming months, but also, when I talked about this with other users in other threads, they also confirmed that this is exactly what they do on other sites/games that have temporary offers.

I can imagine a Knuffel being a reward for the 20FC perk to replace the item from time to time, but I don't see it as any kind of additional offer.

I may have not worded my thought completely right, I wasn't meaning for the knuffel to be an additional reward, I meant what you said at the end of your statement, i like the idea of a knuffel being the 20FC perk from time to time

I wouldn't mind the occassional knuffel as a donation perk, but keeping the top tier perk the same for several months in a row sounds like a bit of a bad idea. I think it'd be best if the knuffel was gifted for only one month, like a regular gotq, if it were to replace the 20 FC tier.

(Though I'm not in general against keeping a perk knuffel around for longer than a month. Just maybe not as the top tier, since some people might donate less if they already have the perk from the previous month)

I generally don't think the same perk item for a several months is a good idea. If a knuffel was a donation perk once in a while, cool. Just instead of an item.

I always work on items in advance, otherwise I would not have a time buffer to work on things like events, so the current donation perks were completed before this thread was even created and no suggestions from this thread were implemented yet.
However, I did try to make a more detailed and elaborated item for the 20FC perk for next month and might try using tweaked old MT and TT items again for the month after that.


I am not too fond of any "drop rate" for Knuffel for donations, as it has too much of a gamble feel to it. That's always tricky and also makes things complicated as there are strict rules involving any kind of gambing when there is real money involved in many countries.

I liked the knuffel drop idea and wanted to suggest that maybe the drop would be of arandom unique knuffel, not a spcific one... then Firn wrote about the gamble thing I keep forgetting it's probably just me being like "oh, it's a nice addition that might happen, I don't necessarily need to actually buy stuff just for this small chance"

But yeah, I thought that this month's perks are probably premade items, I'd make them in advance too, otherwise it might be chaos each month XD
