Oh, I thought the opposite. I was like, ugh, now people will know whenever I don't donate. They'll think I'm a stingy person who doesn't support her "own" website (I'm floored by how many times people have implied that I own this site purely because I'm a moderator).

I never thought about it like that Zia but you're right I guess that is a possibility. I'd like to think people have the presence of mind to understand that must of us have adult responsibilities/bills and what we can and cant contribute is based on how much there is left over a month. And that can change from month to month.
At least that's what i think and wouldn't ever begrudge someone for not donating from one month to the next.
lol that's so strange, maybe it's because we see you around so often. And now that the admins aren't red the hues are too similar? idk lol.
I saw the donation bar go up last month. I know it'll be foolish to say that it's all bcs of the change in the donation perk, but maybe it contributed somewhat. At least I would hope it did lol.
This month I would unfortunately have to say I am not too happy with the perks. I mean their nice, but it's missing what last month's perk had. I have been thinking if this is Firn's way to test whether the details do make a difference or not. It was my first thought when I saw them so we will see???
I keep asking myself if the hair ribbon was all gold if I would like it better. And its a constant battle with me with that lol, but with the hair ribbon even if it was all gold I think it'll still be missing something XD.
I am still hoping a remake appears into the picture soon. In gold I would say for the best reaction. I really love how you used to take an item from a set and added extra "fluff" lol. But I love that extra "fluff" or details, if my avatar isn't proof enough XD.

I think for past month's donations we also have to consider that we had an event and that we had event-currency granting pets for Fairy Coins. These usually get bought quite often, more often than any Treasure Trove set for example, so I am quite sure that they played a role, probably a bigger role than any donation perk.

oh yeaaaahhhhh,
I knew it couldn't solely be because of the donation perk change XD. Idk why I completely forgot about the event currency but yeah that could have also played a big part.
Thank you for remaking the vampire set in new colors Firn. I was really wanting some of the remaining older sets that haven't been re-colored to be recolored. And am still hoping the angel set get more colors in the future as well (even tho it has 2 colors but like I need moreeee lol 
)
And also wow you're avatar looks like an RPG game character Firn! lol. Like you could be the group's powerful mage. or healer

I also am supper excited to have a remake as a perk once again. I hope it's an item that takes up the room for an avi. I feel like what I liked about queen items sometimes is that they dominate a lot of the focus of an avatar. Because like sometimes eye get remade into gold queen items but there's little you can add to that in comparison to like wings/hair etc. But that's me personally I guess.

I personally wasn't always fond of the extra embellishments queen's items received. Maybe because it's not so much my style, but to me they were sometimes too much.
E.g. I still have to find a way to use my golden Joseon hair, because it's just too poofed up for me. I donated for it anyway back then, because I absolutely love the Joseon hairs, but I would much prefer to have just a golden one without the additional bulk.
But I understand that just having them recoloured wouldn't distinguish them enough from regular recoloured items, so I'm personally happy with the perk items just being fresh new items now and not TT recolours. Saves me the pain of "oh no, if only it didn't have so much extra frills I would love it so much", because there's no base item to compare to. I get the idea that queens items should be somewhat special and a bit more frilly than regular items, and I don't object to that, but I'd rather not have a direct comparison ;)

That's a good point actually
I also didn't always like the remade TT items as Queen's gift, but it was still fun to me to compare them. I think it's just people's tastes we're talking now. Some will enjoy more frills, some will be a bit disappointed.
I personally am curious as to how Firn would improve the items. It doesn't have to be a frequent feature for the Queen's gift to be a remake, but once in a while maybe when Firn's too tired to make up a whole new item, Idunno

Oh yes, this is definitely a taste discussion now, I just wanted to throw in my view on it because I saw a lot of people saying they preferred queen's gifts to be these special remakes, so I wanted to mention that there's also people happy about them being fresh items ;)
I agree that they have a fun element when comparing, this "oh, how did she change it?" moment.

I love unique items or added extra,
I actually use them now and then.
It doesn't really matter what they are,
I will still buy them anyhow.
I just like the highest one or 3rd highest to have gold in it.
As I always associate the queen's stuff as being
gold and to me that's what makes them special
