I haven't watched it yet but I am super excited about it! I loooove musicals. And Hugh's voice is sooo good.

I hope that it goes on some sort of tv really soon.

I loved it. The music is really the best part of the movie. The story is kinda sub-par. But the music! It's just so good.

i haven't seen it, and i probably won't see it either, i refuse to watch a film making a cruel racist man seem like he was this amazing guy, he wasn't, if you knew what P.T Barnum was actually like you'd boycot it too, their glamourising a man whom used extreme cruelty to keep his "freaks" under control...

I enjoyed the film, the songs were great and the actors did a great job.
but yeah the story.... I didn't even know anything about P.T. Barnum before watching, and even in the cinema I could tell that this was a film trying to make a bad historical figure seem likable xP
It would have been so much better if they'd just written an entirely fictional story and cast of characters xP

Finally got the chance to see it. It's such a fun movie and the songs are great. Flashy and honestly, a much nicer view of the events than actual history. Which is fine with me, because then the movie would just be depressing. It's a musical. I didn't really expect it to show off how shitty the circus is in real life. I'll just enjoy it for what it is--candy for the eyes and ears.
