Hello!
Sorry if this is a very common question, but I can't find it in the FAQ or tutorials. I'm aware of what food points, troth tokens, and fairy coins are by this point, but under those there's a counter called 'Frosted Donuts'. What are these? What can I use them on? How do I get them? I can't seem to find any info on them. Anything helps, thank you!

The information on that is kind of hidden into the "Did You Know?" panel which changes around, so you don't always see it very easily.

Frosted Donuts are a currency that gets used in a special shop called The Candy Caravan. It only appears once a month (I've been gone for over a year, but when I was here last the timing of it was random, so unless that has changed, it's hard to predict when it comes).

When it comes, it's easier to earn the Frosted Donuts. It usually stays for a couple of days and the items in it rotate out slowly. I think one gets changed every three months or so?

It's a really active time for posting, when it shows up!

Oh, I see! Is there an announcement as to when The Candy Caravan shows up? And does it just show up with the regular shops? (Sorry for all the questions lol, last one!) How do you earn Frosted Donuts anyway? Is it random?

There's an announcement when the caravan appears and you can then access it through a picture on the right, below your avi (where the Did you know picture is).
You earn frosted donuts by posting - while the caravan is there you just get one donut per forum post, when it's not there you only sometimes randomly get donuts, but it can be even two or three at a time!
This was the announcement the last time the caravan was there, I think it has some explanations in it as well :)
