I don't mind tattoos so long as they are....I suppose sensible is the word? You know, something you can still cover up if you need to be in a more professional setting? I also feel like they should be very important to the person before they get them done, I'm not a fan of those impulsive tattoos.

I got one tattoo, I did the design and it took me a long time to actually be able to have it done. My parents didn't agree. I already got the design for my next one done... It's been four years... I still hope to do it one day lol.
I think people should think before having one done. And avoid mixing styles when they get more than one. Because seriously? All those guys/girls getting tattooed just because it's fashion? And having all those different kinds that don't mix well together? Awful.
But yes I thing people should be able to cover them if need be. In some countries, like Japan, you have to cover them to go to a public swimming pool.

Tattoos are alright if they are done by a good Tattoo artist. A good Tattoo Artist is not just some who is a skilled artist, by someone who is a good enough person to not just take your money and put something on permanent on your body that you might live to regret. A good Tattoo Artist is someone that will be kind enough not to put something on your body that you will get your a** kick over, or that you wont kick your own a** over.
I like well done tattoos.

I think tattoos on guys is okay, as long as it doesn't consume the whole body part. Small tattoos on women are okay too, but if you have a tramp stamp or something really big that someone can see, then I probably won't talk to you.

I would like a tattoo as well, but I would only get one that would mean something important and personal to me. I don't care all that much for whatever reasons others get tattoos - it's their life, their decision, their body.

-----------------------Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ----------------------- ...as the wind whistled past it whispered in your ears...
I love tattoos when they really mean something to the person, simply decorative and especially impulsive tattoos just don't really do it for me. But despite that, so long as the tattoo/s is/are sensible and well done, I don't see why anyone should have a problem with them being displayed. I have plans for a tattoo, but I'm in no rush to get it and I think the longer I wait the better - I don't want to regret any part of this decision. I've discussed it a bit with my mother and she said not to tell dad X'D
...then the words drifted away, never to be heard again... -----------------------❈-----------------------

I currently have 3 :) me and my mom got a breast cancer ribbon together, I have a stegosaurus skeleton on my hip, and a large mechanical clover on my foot/ankle. I really want a few more, but ive been putting them off just due to the idea of more ideas. I dont mind impulse tattoos, I get them because I love them. I want something to go with my body shape and my personality. what I DO NOT like is burn tattoos. what could POSSIBLY go through your mind to burn an image into your body? I once saw a really large woman that had a very large sad face burned into her upper arm. like, what?
besides that, I disagree with band tattoos and lover tattoos. those things can be temporary, a tattoo is not.
