The Event starts today and runs till November 7th
Means with or without 7th?
It will be deactivated sometime on the 7th, but I am afraid I can't give you an exact time as events have to be deactivated manually and it will depend on when starkad has time.

I wish I actually had more time. This has been harder than I expected.
EDIT: Meaning I wish I weren't so busy at the moment. Not that I wish it was extended.

I thought I had so much more time left. That's okay. Who needs sleep anyway?

I really liked this event but it seemed too hard for some and stupid easy for others. I read some people are not going to make it to the knuffel. I have TONS of Knuffel so it was a breeze for me.

Maybe a way to balance it out would be to make posting worth just a tad more. For example, I made 492 points from posting. Maybe if the posting was worth 4 or 5 points. (4x = 656 or 5x = 826) it would help out people who don't have a ton of knuffel and still encourage people to chat. I know some people probably chatted way more than me.

Just something to think about for next time. =3
I'm sure users who want what they missed can quest for the items or even the knuffel they missed.

Again overall this was a nice event. I loved the wings, hair, colors, and Knuffel.

Keep up the awesomes! :qh:

Thanks for the input. I am all for rewarding people for posting more, so that's something we will take in consideration next time we have an event with different means to earn currency.
Was just a bit afraid that, if we focus too much on posting, some people would complain as in the past people stated that they felt "forced" to post in order to get the event items.

I feel like the value points were good because trying to get people to post and be active on the site. Part of the point of this site is being social. So if people are complaining about being forced to socialize are partly redundant on why they are here. You can play this site without chatting, but you are missing out on some things and making the game harder overall. (being you are missing out on daycare tickets and frosted donuts.) I feel like those people need to give chatting a try at the least. We have a lot of nice people here, they don't need to fear! :mchappy:

I wonder if we should always have like an official chat topic for each event and advertised on the official post. I have liked it that someone started doing these every event. I know Gaia always makes a new forum dedicated to events, but that would be overkill for here. XD But the point would be to give everyone to chat on the same topic. Then maybe they will make friends, branch out to hangouts or other areas of the forums.

Sorry, I'm just rambling. I'm happy you liked my feedback! :mchappy:

I have trouble socialising. I am always worried I'll do something wrong so I'll stop myself from chatting.
I like the unofficial chat topic because it has all kinds of info that make things easier or just gives information. Like, I know I have 31 items left to get because they have a list of all the event items and how many points you need to get them.

It makes me happy to hear that, I tried really hard to make it informative!

I wonder if an alternative would be to make the digging show up with pastries more often when pastries replaced a 'nothing' result than it does when replacing an 'item' result.
Oh, that is not phrased well.

What I am thinking is, I have a lot of knuffels, yes? So I have an advantage with digging (if I ever properly did it) with those knuffels.
People who don't have many, sometimes felt like it wasn't even worth digging at all, because they didn't have very many so it didn't yield very much.

But if the knuffels that weren't maxed out got a better result than the ones that did, it would encourage them (and maybe even inspire people to get more knuffels during the event).

Oh, wait. I'm sorry, that was a bad suggestion. Maxed knuffels can also always dig in areas they didn't put points in. :qsweat: I forgot.

Your idea could still work if it was tweaked a little though. Maybe if you dig in the Knuffel's prefered area you could get event stuff 50% of the time they would usually get 'nothing' but in the other area change it so it stays the same as if it were not an event.

Alternatively, you could have the event items you dig up give more experience. It could help those with low-level Knuffel level up faster during the event and allow them to potentially get more event items.

I personally I'm not as chatty as I could be but I know if I had the access to a pc/internet I could collect with digging all the points that are need which sadly isn't the case when holidays I just can't.
