Site/User Appreciation

I want to thank Firn, starkad and the users on this site for being so active during the last event and Candy Caravan.
I haven't seen that much activity in a long time and it was fun posting and making threads again to talk and collect items.
I also saw a few people I haven't seen in a while.
I hope we can see this again and more often.
I can't believe I've been active here for so long.
Every other site I was on when I first joined this one - I'm no longer active on. I go back once and while, but I don't stay long. This site has kept me coming back and never wanting to leave.
I've met some of my best friends on here and I've met friends that are no longer around and I've met people that I really clashed with.
I'm grateful for the people I've met here and the experiences I've had.
When I was a new member, I wanted nothing more than to be a moderator.
I hoped and wished that I would get picked and I did eventually.
I loved being a moderator and helping people with things and helping keep the site orderly.
I never had a payroll as a moderator, but it didn't matter because I loved being useful in some way.
It gave me a lot of inside knowledge to how a lot of sites work and handle situations and I'm grateful.
This thread was just meant for the activity during the event and Candy Caravan, but I ramble so u8
