I finished The Seduction of Lady Phoebe. I did not care for it, so I put it on paperbackswap, and someone requested it right away.

just finished "Spinning Silver", found it brilliant

next on my list is "Black Leopard, Red Wolf" but I don't feel like getting back to it at all. first of all, I'd like a break between two 1st-person books, and secondly, the "Leopard" is so violent that it'd be good to read something nice and fluffy before diving into it

I don't think I will finish any more books this year, but I'm ok with that. I set my goal at 18, and I read 25.

you know that feeling when your brain goes "right now I can only handle simple sentences and straightforward plotlines", and if you start a difficult read, it's like "nope. and I've warned you"?

I get that when I pick up a book and read the first page. Then my brain is like no, put that down, we're not picking that up for a week at least XD
