Wattpad anyone?

Anyone else have a Wattpad account? If so what kind of stories do you write on it?

Mines here Click Me!

I only have one story available. Book one of a sci-fi series. It's unedited so I can get feedback on my ideas and flesh out the whole idea. From there I want to edit according to what I've learned and the feedback. Then after it's been edited I'll post audiobook versions on youtube, get MORE feedback. Re-edit and then look into publishing. Probably through Amazon...

What about everyone else?

I've got a Wattpad account. I've started writing a few stories. The one I'm most proud of is The Skellington Queen.
They're silly or light-hearted stories because I'm still trying to learn what works and what doesn't, and I won't be able to give my main story the justice it deserves until I'm more experienced.

I registed at Wattpad a while ago, but I did not really get it.
I mean, you are supposed to browse? Or do you just follow people you know?

I've never made an account but I've read a few things there. It seems very popular for kpop/asian drama fanfics or fics pairing the actors of a fictional couple. The stuff that's less popular on other platforms or simply not allowed. I know there is a lot of original fiction but it's hard to know if anything is going to be worth reading. :/

I'm curious though, of those who use it, how good is the feedback? Do your stories get a lot of exposure and are the comments helpful?

Is Wattpad similar to AO3?
I've heard about it but never really ventured onto it; is it mostly fanfiction or more personal works?

It's a mix but still geared toward original fiction. Though, as long as it's writing, it's allowed. There are tags for all the genre sections so you would search for the type of story you want to read rather than any pairing tools you would use on Ao3.

I see teenagers use this, but I have not really ventured into it ever since I made the account.
Maybe it would be a nice way to catch up with younger readers, but lately I hardly write anymore.
I suppose I should dedicate some to it if I really want to do it, but there are always other priorities.
