I went to a pretty academic high school, but I did AP studio art so that's where I got my art class time in /o/
A music academy sounds really cool! I immediately start imagining classy uniforms (read too much manga...) *____*

Fanart is a great source of motivation... when you have a show to get into the fandom. Adult Life took away my time to chase animes and fandoms so there went that source QAQ
(I started reading Spy x Family lately though! It's quite good~)

Thank goodness for KofK and its lovely lovely avatar system <33333

if your definition of classy uniform is a black dress for girls, a tux for guys, then you're right haha

i feel you, when i do draw the rare fanart, it's of nostalgia. although, i've been watching some new animes that came out, since i read the manga! i love spy x family, the manga is great and the anime did it justice. if you haven't watched it yet, i highly suggest it!

thank goodness indeed uwu

My daughter and I love to to doodle stupid things.^^

That helps with downtimes.
And drawing on the streets with chalk is super fun.

I am not really sure what my favorite medium to teach is. The same medium can be really cool and fun to teach with one class (or group) and get stressful and depressing with another one. I am quite happy when the older kids decide they want oil or aquarelle to be their medium. But I also love to teach bookbinding, if they are able to concentrate! Then the results look good and you see how happy the kids are when they hold the first book they ever made themselves :D

Inking is also cool, but many kids struggle a lot with quills.

Drawing on the streets with chalk was always fun! I don't do that anymore as I do not have own children, but whenever I see kids do it I become extra careful to not destroy it!!!

It is so much fun xD
And it can make other games or activities more interesting as well. For example we drew smaller "streets" to ride our bicycles on^^

Awww I remember drawing with chalk in elementary, it would get so messy but it's so fun :mclove:

When I was in school I enjoyed watercolor and sketching the most because they were the least hassle? I always get anxious with the mediums that require a lot of prep and clean up because it'd get chaotic in the room XD

Finding not only the time to draw, but the motivation is a big struggle for me recently - I'm going to try and get something done for June maybe.
