I know what that's like. Being busy with work. Hopefully you'll get used to it and won't be so tired.

It will get better as the days grow longer again, I'm sure. At the moment I struggle to stand up as early as I want, since it's still dark out then and if I take the train an hour later it gets light out just as I stand up. So I've been taking the later train lately (I can come and go at whatever times I want, luckily), but that means I also get home later. The worst part of it all is just my commute, I spend 3 hours per day in total with commuting (door-to-door one way is about one and a half hours). But at least I've been having my after work fun on the train ever since the christmas break, since I'm playing BotW during the train rides now :)

My health seems stable, thanks for asking! I need to modify the settings of my software so I can fully use it.

I am mostly well! Have a tiny budget for fcs now because i love kofk so.

Your commute is loong. At least you aren't driving all the way?

That sounds good! I'm super glad to hear it! :)
Good luck with figuring out the best settings :)

And yay for the fc budget :) It's always exciting to get cute stuff and support a site we love at the same time :)

Luckily, it's just trains and a bit of a bike ride, no car driving required :) So I can just have breakfast on the train in the morning and play games or read books or crochet... Lots of fun possibilities. But it would still be nicer to get home earlier and have fun there.

Can you listen to audiobooks and crochet at the same time? Or classical music. :D

Are your coworkers and boss nice? Do you like what you are doing?

I'm just so excited for you. :'D A new beginning!

Yes, I tend to listen to either audiobooks or some music when I crochet on the train :)

Yes, I'm super happy with all the people I work together with! But that part I did know before I started there as a job, since I already did my thesis there before and knew everyone :)
And I also like what I'm working on now. Everything is indeed pretty exciting!

What kinds of books have you been listening to?

It's cool you have continuity there! They must like you, too!

I think one of my brothers is going to pursue a cs masters. He graduates undergrad this spring. C:

Okay guys, it's the evening of February 2nd for me here - but since I don't know when Feb 2nd is over in which timezone (and I didn't really specify a time of day and timezone for the deadline anyway...), I'll wait with judging until tomorrow evening or maybe the day after tomorrow, depending on how late I'll be home.
So get any last minute entries in or let me know if you have something that is not quite finished and need a few more days!

I'm super excited about all the entries and I have no idea how I'm supposed to judge this yet, considering I love them all so much :D
Go check them out: click

Ok, official announcement thingy over, let me get back to chatting for now...

I've been (or really still am) listening to ASoIaF to refresh my memory of the books after seeing the last of the show and in the hopes that we'll get the next one in the not too distant future. But it's been going slow, I read much faster than the audiobook goes :D And I'm not doing it very regularly, lately I've only been playing BotW on the train.

It seems like they do :)

Cool, do you know what area he is specializing in?
