I finished "understanding comics" thanks to figuring that non-fiction is good to read in bed. if you don't commute anymore, you've got to find other ways. so yay, the third book goes towards the challenge

not sure what's manageable by the end of the year but I'll try to read as much as I can from Eisner's "comics and sequential art" by the end of the month and then will focus on the two non-fiction books about various curious things in the russian language, in search of material for my new course in winter. if I don't find anything, at least that's two more books this year

Bumping in to say I got stuck on the Hobbit (not because it's bad or anything, just can't organize my time properly) and I don't think I'll hit 5 books this year xD Unless I'll count the punctuation dictionary and textbook on editing that I need to read

To be completely honest, I can't even remember how many books I've read this year I might be able to check it in my TBR list, but I'm not even sure.

I finished The Middle of the Road. I liked it. Read some To Kill A Mockingbird last night.
