I finished The Unicorn Hunt. Now I am working on The Lost King of France: A True Story of Revolution, Revenge, and DNA by Deborah Cadbury.

I finished Age of Empyre by Michael J. Sullivan a couple days ago which is the final book of Legends of the First Empire series. I'm giving the overall series 4.5 out of 5. It was really easy to read, and since he self-publishes his books (which I didn't know when I first started) he can do whatever he wants which is why I think I found the flow of the story consistent. He also did a good job making me feel real hate and pity towards one single character. I also didn't realize this was the origin for his other series he wrote so now I got a whole other series I will read eventually.

I started the Paper Magician by Charlie N. Holmberg last night. I forgot I splurged and bought the series a while back (if you can say paying $7.50 for all 4 books as a splurge). I only read the first two chapters, but so far from what I've read it's interesting. Plus it's short so I'm hoping the whole book is an easy read for me.

I recently started reading the Highly Sensitive Person by Elaine N. Aron since I can't bring myself or Ash to finish the Hobbit with me :mcheh: I'm amazed at Aron's book, it's like reading therapy.

Psst! It's off topic, but I'd like to invite y'all to my charity thread for some free items! :qstar: I updated it today and will continue to update it, so please bookmark or subscribe. :mcglee: There are no requirements or limitations. :mccool:

Well it looks like I will finish my original goal of 15 books! I'm less than 60 pages from the end of the Paper Magician. It has really surprised me because I was not expecting it to turn out this way. I also find the magic system intriguing so hopefully the other books in this series will expand on that.

And next week I will finally get The Light of All That Falls by James Islington in paperback. I just hope the ending of the trilogy won't be disappointing since I have been waiting over a year for the paperback copy. I highly doubt that will be the case.

Rubie, seems like you are on track :)

I am slowly progressing with Män som hatar kvinnor. Not so easy, but easier than I expected.

Yep and finished. Now to wait a week. But I am running to the bookstore this weekend because the person's name I got in the gift exchange wants a book. Sadly that series had turned into a Netflix adaption so I don't know if I'll be able to find a copy without that printed on it. She original bought these books in middle school, just never finished buying all the books. I just don't understand why publishers must PRINT these "stickers" on the covers. It really ruins the book imho.

I had to look up what that was. I remember that book being popular when I was in high school, but I never read it. I hope you keep making steady progress on it =]

I am reading The Princess Curse. It's quick, it's easy, I have read it before, and I love it, so it's going fast.
