I'm not going into extreme detail, but I'll give the gist of what's been happening with my dad.
My dad left for a while and he developed Diabetes while he was gone.
His kidneys were functioning at 30% - 37%.
He has sleep apnea and suspected to have Narcolepsy.
He's staying in a place where he doesn't like and they're constantly causing him grief over stupid shit.
They also don't help him with his medical needs like they should and when they do - they complain about it costing them money.
Anyways he fell the other day and thinks he cracked his rib.
My dad has broken three ribs before, so I believe him.
When he told the people there, they didn't give a shit.
They weren't going to send him to the hospital or anything.
I spent an afternoon with my dad and all he did was groan in pain.
He can't laugh, he can't breathe, he can bend over, he can't do anything without his rib hurting him.
I was already very irritated with these people, but it's getting more and more infuriating xD
I called and asked to speak to the administrator who was conveniently out so I left a message and they never got back to me.
My dad told me that they're sending him to the hospital, though.
So apparently they listened to me.
I'm not a very assertive person. I avoid conflict at all costs. But this has frustrated me to the point where I just want to go down there and throw a bitchfit.
How the fuck can someone say that it's not their problem when their job is to watch over him?
How the fuck is it NOT your job?
And considering he hurt himself on your property - that IS your problem.
I was so irritated that my mom could just look at me and tell I was angry.
It actually surprised me because my face rarely shows expression.
But my mom knew ._.
My dad's sick. He needs medical care. He's not getting any younger. So I'm worried about him. And seeing him be put through so much bullshit is really pissing me off because I can't help him.
All I can do is keep calling and bitching at people and hoping they'll listen.
