It used to make me super uncomfortable and self conscious just going to a café by myself, but after backpacking on my own I managed to get out of my comfort zone. Not bothered at all now! :mctongue:

I would not have a problem going on vacation alone, but going alone to restaurant fills me with fear and paralyses my thoughts. I don't drive though, so my trips alone are quite limited.

Only if it's something I'm too passionate about so I don't feel awkward and uncomfortable. Otherwise, I'm home with the attention hound dog or with friends and family. But people drain me, and I do not know how society works and their secret cues.

I'm so rural and no driving license that to go anywhere someone has to come. If only to schlep me
So, really, I haven't really ever gone anywhere solo for most of my life. Wandered off and gone back, yes, but truly solo? No
Camp only half counts cuz only a week long, everywhere you can go is supervised (because there's also kids who are as young as eight there), and everything is scheduled
I've been to a con solo once. I'm not going to do that again unless I have a place to put merch because toting bags around sucks
One could argue i spent most of the cruise I went on alone but I'm more iffy on that because it was a group thing and each time we left the ship for ports we still stuck as a group. The ship itself, well, the one day we spent entirely on water was the only day I didn't see anyone I was with
So
Yeah

I'm not super comfortable being alone in a lot of situations. I can take sunrise walks for hours alone, but wandering a book store or going out to eat by myself make me really uncomfortable. I feel out of place.

Being with friends, relatives, or my boyfriend is a lot more enjoyable because I have someone to share it with. Even if we're not talking or are doing things a bit separately, its nicer to have someone there.

I don't really like going out to eat or see a movie by myself, but I've been doing a lot of things by myself lately. I'll still just pick up the food and take it home.
