From The Book of Questions by Gregory Stock.

Question #83: If you were helping to raise money for a charity and someone agreed to make a large contribution if you would perform at the upcoming fund-raising show, would you? If so, what would you like to perform? Assume the show would have an audience of about 1,000.

Nope. Not happening. Even for a good cause. I have no talents at all and all I would do is flub around and stumble over my words (my speech problem gets worse the more nervous I get). I would never do this for free and no amount of money would get me to do it either.

Same here. I have no talents at all, so if anyone insisted that I get up on stage, then they're most likely just trying to get me to look silly! Anyone who wants to donate to the cause can do so without making me feel bad!

When you say perform, does that mean just doing a talent or like...hosting the whole thing?
I would draw on a tablet and I guess have it projected on a large screen.
Only conditions I'd have is to have my back turned to the audience and not have to talk to anyone for long.
But that might be boring...I'd actually be willing to tell a story, I guess.

I used to preform on stages a lot, so it wouldn't be a first for me to be on a stage or in front of a lot of people.
I don't like people looking at me in general, but also when I draw, so I would need to not see anyone xD

Me looking a fool is a good price to pay if it means helping people.
And I'm used to it u8

Good question. I'm picturing it being doing a talent, although it's not very specific, and one could argue that hosting an event is a talent!

I would probably agree, than be mortified that I actually had to perform. I'm okay at writing so I could just do a performative presentation on some obscure topic for 15 minutes :mcheh:

Yes I would absolutely do it for a charity event. I'd sing one song and even if it's bad or I stumble out of nervousness there'd be money for a charity. I'm okay with that.

I'd probably sing some of my favorite songs acapella.
