That I don't remember. I just know it grew in the alley.
Dewberry vines can be found overrunning just about any sunny or shady open area. The dewberry plant creeps along the ground as a thorny vine as opposed to blackberries which grow in the form of an upright cane. Dewberries are common along Texas roadsides, fields, abandoned land, and woodland paths.

I used to love eating them.
They disappeared at some point, though...
I also used to have honeysuckles that I'd eat.
I mean I didn't eat the whole thing but xD

It's possible. The alley wasn't super taken care of.
There used to be dumpsters out there but the city removed them.
Maybe the dumpsters helped fertilize the berries so they died when the dumpsters were removed xD

Maybe. Though plants usually survive pretty well even after not being fed regularly.
