Uncursed Chat Thread

Okay, I'm tired of not being able to properly talk about Grog and his wares.

So, new thread, un-cursed.

I guess we need to change the topic enough that it's not a complete duplicate, so maybe this can be more about Grog in general instead of just the Candy Caravan?

And curses.

Or glitches, or bugs, or errors, or misfortunes, or whatever you prefer to call them.

Speaking of that, wouldn't it be neat if Grog carried an anti-evil-eye amulet, one of these days?

I wonder if Wuffels, with their three eyes, have more of an Evil Eye culture or less of one?

You would think with three eyes that there should be some kind of evil eye culture, but the third eye is also the eye of truth?

Save us from our curse, dear Grog!

Yeah, I just tend to think, with three of them, the imagery for all things eyes must be more pervasive, right?
Not that they can match you, just now...

(It's also interesting to see how the third eye doesn't have its own third eyebrow.)

Considering where the third eye is placed, wouldn't the eyebrow be considered hair anyway?

I've never thought about third eyes having brows. O.O They never seem to in any art. Hair must be good enough. It would be weird to place it so close to the brow line. Maybe an itsy bitsy brow would be cute though?

Well, mostly I was thinking of it because of how important brows are for expressions...
How would you read the expression in the third eye without the brow? All you have without it, is squinting or not...

(Ooooh! What about how you'd need new terms, too.... winking is one eye, blinking is two eyes, what's when you do it with all three eyes at once?)

Wouldn't all three eyes blink a the same time? Rather, I think it would mean ill-intent if the regular eyes blinked and the third eye didn't. Or it could be considered very rude like flipping someone off.

Maybe! I wasn't thinking of the cultural meanings behind them so much as needing a new vocabulary word to describe the physical motions.

Like maybe "blinking" is all 3 eyes, and "winking" is just the third eye, and "plinking" could be just the lower two (an insult maybe, like you said?), and "zinking" could be a single one of the lower two, and "crinking" could be one of the lower two and the upper at the same time....
And I bet they all have cultural body language associated with them!

I like how we're sitting here creating an entire third-eye lore. Also, loving the word crinking. That is exactly what it would look like!

I wonder if the third eye had an eyebrow if it would be able to move independently. The other two eyebrows mostly do the same thing, but in all the forehead furrows, the third eyebrow might be more expressive!

Oooh, I didn't think of that!
And you know how with us, raising a single eyebrow is so evocative, I wonder how much more so it would be with three brows, it must be even harder to separate them out and move just one, I bet it would be even more rare....
