I wouldn't wager anything. I'm not a gambling sort of person, nor am I a risk-taking sort of person--particularly when it comes to finances. I am usually bewildered at how my less fortunate friends can be, but I suppose that's also why they're in those sorts of positions.

From experience, being poor is expensive, and stressful af. Sometimes, what seems impulsive to someone who is financially stable and secure? Might just be the thing that keeps the poor person from breaking entirely.
