I tried to take French on virtual school, but I didn't do very well. I'd really like to learn German. My mom has been trying to learn Spanish, but I don't know how well she's doing.

Yes, I'd like to learn ASL also. I started learning Spanish on Duolingo in March because I actually know people I could speak Spanish with. I'd love to learn German, but I'd have nobody to talk to.

I also agree that sign languages should definitely be more present in schools! My high school school only offered French, Latin, and Spanish, though I think once in a blue moon they'd offer Arabic, but only at a basic level.

I've always wanted to learn Japanese and Irish Gaelic. I'm actually in the process of learning Japanese now! And yeah, sign should be mandatory in school at least to a certain point. Right now the education system favors abled children and leaves those inable to speak without means to communicate because their peers don't know how. Conversational sign should be standard in any society.

My first language was Spanish, and then when I came to America I learned English. I then started to attempt to learn French, but that was not successful lol. I would start to get all 3 languages confused and decided to stop and just keep the 2 lol.

Honestly, I want to speak another language, but I don't go anywhere where they speak another language. I've started learning several different languages and I was pretty good at Spanish in school, but I don't have anyone to talk to and no real plans to go to Spain...
So I'm probably going to stick with German and English for the time being. If anything, I'll probably try learning arabic next.
