If the universe really is infinite, then it's statistically impossible for us to be the only intelligent life. Idk how advanced other life forms might be, though, or if they'd know about us, or bother visiting.

i'm 99.999% sure there is life out there, but i think they'd be way different from what we are. they probably don't have a humanoid form and no one is coming to get us. i'm sure if they knew about us (and our technology is nowhere near achieving very distant contact) they'd ignore us the same way we ignore ants. i watched a pretty interesting yt video by kurzgesagt about the kardashev scale, i agree with a lot of what they said. for as much as we like thinking it does, the universe doesn't revolve around us

I don't know if that's really depressing, or not. It give us room to grow. While I'm sure there are those that would grow in a bad way, I think their are some who could use it to grow in a good way. Red Dwarf kind of surprises me though why don't the Dwarfer run into human colonies with people, why are all the humans wiped out.
