Couldn't access the site using kofk.de

Hi.
I've always accessed the site using kofk.de since it's easier to type in
but I just tried it earlier today and I couldn't access the site using it.

Yes, there has been a relatively recent site move, after which the admins made kofk.de to redirect to the new site, kingdomofknuffel.com, but cautioned that it'll only be temporary and that we should update our bookmarks accordingly.
Here's the announcement for the move and for the warning.

x.x is this why? I had the old one bookmarked, couldn't log in for a day and half, lost my troth token progress, bleh.

So that's the reason my old bookmark didn't work.
I found that particularly strange after I'd accessed the site once before using a notification email link.
I've been away for a long time so didn't get the memo.
