Until... today really, possibly last night, I have been able to add links in my signature of virtual pets from other sites that require views and clicks to evolve. Now suddenly I cannot include linked images to Dragon Cave or The Final Outpost, though as you can see my Gothicats links still work.

I cleared my signature completely and found that everything worked fine, added in my wishlist box and that worked fine, then added in Gothicats and again, it all went normally. Then I attempted a Dragon Cave link and it went wrong, then removed that code and tried one from The Final Outpost and it went wrong as well.

When attempting a linked image to either Dragon Cave or The Final Outpost it lags badly, then reloads the page with the code box rather than going to the little message about it being updated, with the changed code still there but not updated into the actual signature. After the same bad lag a preview shows a linked image code as a text link but that disappears upon an attempt to submit the code and the signature does not change.


I'm confused.

Are we not supposed to link offsite anymore?

We did not change anything about signatures. Can you post the code you want to add to your signature here so I can try it out and maybe figure out where the problem lies?

That's a random BB code provided by Dragon Cave for 1 of my eggs.

When I attempt to add it after the Gothicats code I get a lot of lag and ultimately nothing updates.



Edit: DC seems to currently be having issues (none of the click sites can connect to it) so I'll also provide a code from The Final Outpost which to my knowledge is functioning normally.
The TFO code just previewed and submitted at a normal speed but still came up with a text link in the preview and upon submitting did not actually update the signature.

Hmmm, I can't make sense of it. It's like the image is what's causing the problem, but I don't know why, as it works when not used as a link



I will ask starkad to take a look, but I have a feeling that figuring this out might be tricky.
