I do, in fact, play the Pokemans! I'm not sure of my Switch ID right now but I'll charge it up and find out <3

May those who love us love us And those who don't love us May God turn their hearts, And if He doesn't turn their hearts, May He turn their ankles, So we'll know them by their limping.

I'm not playing... but would you mind me asking a question?
Is this game very easy to learn the basic ropes or does it have a learning curve?

My son is only 6 years old and he loves Pokemon, but I'm not sure about his dexterity to handle certain type of games.
We tried my old Pokemon games for GameBoy, which I though had an easy game structure but he was frustrated soon enough. Might have been the language, he does not speak English and that kinda made it less fun, but I'm interested in learning more about other Pokemon games.

I'm pretty sure the newer games have different language options. I personally don't pay attention to the dialogue much, as I've been playing for a while.

The learning curve isn't too bad- If he does like I do, there is no learning curve! Just hit him with all you got! And learn how different element types effect others IE- Water is strong against Fire but weak against grass.

You can get REALLY into Pokemon, but using defensive moves and offensive moves, balancing out your IV powers and a lot of other things I never bothered to learn in the past 25 years.

I have not bought a new pokemon game since Sun/Moon. (the first one, not Sun/Moon 2)

I did not bother with Sword and Shield. I was tired of buying the same game, with small differences, over and over. I just did not see anything in them that drew my interest.

I still play the other pokemon games. My original gameboy and Pokemon Red still work great.
